Winter Juried ExhibitionDecember 5 - 13, 2025
8x8x8 is the Foundry Art Centre's winter juried exhibition. Artists are invited to apply and, if selected, will have 8 feet by 8 feet of wall space and 8 feet by 8 feet of floor space for 2D works and/or 3D works. All media will be considered.
This is a cash and carry exhibition, thus all artwork in the gallery MUST be for sale. No NFS artwork will be accepted or exhibited.
Application Deadline: October 27, 2025
All applications will be reviewed after the deadline.
The Foundry Art Centre will notify all applicants by November 3rd, 2023.
Exhibition Details & Schedule
The application fee is $35, non-refundable. There is a 65%-35% commission split on all sales from the exhibition.

Opening Reception: Friday, December 5th, 5-8pm. The opening reception coincides with First Friday and the first evening of the Merry Makers Market.

Yes, you can just fill the wall with artwork. You don't have to have a high-minded concept of filling 8 cubic feet of space.
Yes, people can buy the artwork off the wall and take it home same-day. The Merry Makers Market is happening at the same time; the Foundry will have a lot of people who are interested in buying gifts. All of the artwork exhibited must be for sale. Artists can re-stock space, if necessary, after consulting with the director of exhibitions.
No, you can't paint directly on the walls, but you can bring in two pieces of 4x8ft .25in plywood to install as a mural within the 8x8 wall space.

Please upload 6-10 images of your work that you would like to have considered for exhibition. Artwork must have been completed in the past two years. Images should showcase the entire artwork. If you would like, you can include detail images in the supplemental image upload. You may exhibit works that are not submitted with this application; images you submit should be representative of the types of artwork that will be shown.
Images should be at least 300 dpi and between 1,600 and 2,400 pixels on the largest side.
Images should be saved as a .jpg or .png. No HEIC files, please.
Images should be labeled as Artist's Last Name, First Initial, and Artwork Title (abbreviated titles are acceptable.) Example: VanGogh_V_StarryNight.jpg | Kahlo.F.SelfPortrait.png
